Service Policies
Yellow Bow Service Policies and Guidelines
1. Scope of Services Policy
Policy: Yellow Bow offers budget-conscious event planning assistance, coordination, and support services, distinct from full-service event planning. Our services aim to provide professional guidance for specific event aspects, including tailored coordination, venue and vendor sourcing assistance, and custom floor plan creation. Yellow Bow acts as a facilitator and advisor, offering tools, resources, and guidance. We are not the direct provider of third-party venue or vendor services.
Specifics:
- Yellow Bow Starter Package: A fixed-price introductory service ($99) with pre-defined planning assistance elements. It does not include full event planning or on-site management unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
- On-Day Coordination Packages: Scope, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing are detailed in customized service agreements or quotes.
2. Pricing and Payment Policy
Policy: All fees for Yellow Bow services are service fees charged by Eventors Inc. under the Yellow Bow brand. A 5% processing fee is applied to all Yellow Bow transactions and is included in the total price displayed to consumers at every stage of the purchasing process. This fee is separate from other Eventors or Stripe processing fees.
Specifics:
- Payment Terms: Subject to the general Eventors "Fees and Payments" provisions (Section 12 of the main Terms). The Starter Package typically requires upfront payment.
- Refunds: All sales for Yellow Bow services, including the Starter Package, are final and non-refundable unless specifically agreed to in writing by Eventors Inc. (in accordance with Section 15 of the main Terms).
- All-Inclusive Pricing: All prices displayed for Yellow Bow services are fully transparent and include all mandatory fees (e.g., the 5% processing fee) at the time of initial display to the consumer.
3. Client Responsibilities Policy
Policy: Clients utilizing Yellow Bow services are solely responsible for all final decisions regarding their event and for directly contracting with and managing all third-party vendors, unless Yellow Bow explicitly acts as an agent in a separate, signed agreement. Clients must provide accurate, complete, and timely information as requested.
Specifics:
- Clients are responsible for understanding and complying with the terms, conditions, and policies of any third-party venues or vendors they engage, regardless of whether Yellow Bow sourced or referred them.
4. Partner and Referral Program Policy
Policy: Yellow Bow collaborates with various businesses and professionals (Partners) for referral and coordination purposes to enhance the client experience. However, any referrals or suggestions of Partners do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of their services, quality, availability, or pricing.
Specifics:
- Client Due Diligence: Clients are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence and entering into direct agreements with any referred Partners.
- Referral Incentives: Yellow Bow may receive referral fees or incentives from Partners, but these arrangements do not impact the pricing offered to the client by the Partner unless explicitly disclosed by the Partner.
5. Disclaimers and Limitations Policy
Policy: Yellow Bow provides planning assistance and coordination support but does not guarantee the ultimate success, outcome, or specific aesthetic realization of any event. The overall execution and success of the event remain the client's responsibility. Any advice or recommendations provided are for informational and guidance purposes only, and clients retain full responsibility for acting upon such advice and the consequences of their decisions.
Specifics:
- The general "Disclaimer of All Warranties," "Limitation of Liability," and "Assumption of Risk" from the main Eventors Terms of Service apply fully to Yellow Bow services, reinforcing that clients use these services at their sole risk.
6. Cash Advance Policy (for Vendors using Yellow Bow-facilitated bookings)
Policy: Yellow Bow, as part of Eventors, may offer a 50% cash advance to eligible vendors for large bookings ($2,000 or more) facilitated through the Eventors platform, to assist with upfront costs.
Specifics:
- Eligibility: Vendor must have at least one 5-star review on the Eventors platform.
- Process: Vendor must accept the booking request, then email support@eventors.com no sooner than 30 days before the event to request the advance.
- Pre-establishment: Any cash advance must be pre-established and agreed upon with Eventors before the event.
7. Performance Under the Influence Policy
Policy: Any vendor providing services through the Eventors platform, including those facilitated by Yellow Bow, is strictly prohibited from performing services under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substances.
Specifics:
- Any request for or requirement of a vendor to perform services while under the influence will be considered a material breach of these Terms and Conditions, potentially leading to account suspension or termination.
8. Force Majeure Policy
Policy: Neither Yellow Bow (Eventors) nor the client/vendor will be held liable for delays or failures in performing obligations due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond their reasonable control (Force Majeure Events), such as natural disasters, war, epidemics, or strikes.
Specifics:
- The affected party must provide prompt written notice of the Force Majeure Event and strive to mitigate its impact.
- Performance obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
- If a Force Majeure Event prevents performance for a continuous period of 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement.
9. Cancellation Policy
Policy: The general Eventors Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings facilitated through the platform, including those involving Yellow Bow services. Eventors retains its customary fees in all cancellations.
Specifics:
- Fees paid directly to Yellow Bow for its planning assistance or coordination services (e.g., the $99 Starter Package) are generally non-refundable, unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.
